I own a 2005 Chevy H/D 2500 dura max engine and allison tranny crew cab. The HVAC blower fan under the dash is inon. The repair resistor and wiring harness that you show does not match mine. I have only three wires at that connector and 2 wires going to the fan itself. I need a repair but the parts that I have seen in your site don't match. Can you help? Brian

Is this part 15-80186 for automatic air? Does it plug right in or does it need a modification? I'm told the original 02 was replaced by a new connection where wires need to be spliced.

I have a 1993 c1500 chevy truck. The blower goes off and on intermiterly. I thought it was blower resistor. I unplugged it and the blower motor stills runs on high intermitely. Should the blower motor run with resistor unplugged. Any suggestion on what part I might need to solve this problem. Thanks, Joe

I am wondering if this is the actuator I need. According to Sparky's Answers in 2008, this may be it. I have a 2004 Cherolet Tahoe with the auto HVAC controls.Rear has recently been repaired, passenger side works fine. Driver's side will change temperatures eventually, but seems to be inconsistent between full-hot/full-cold and sometimes will blend, although I'm not sure it's correct. The footwell doesn't blow at all, although shifting from vents to defrost seems to work fine. I believe there . . .

My 96 c1500 has 2 burnt connectors behind the fan switch. I tried cleaning the connection and moved it around and only got a medium speed with no switching when knob was turned. Any thoughts before I buy this or the resistor? Thanks Adam

1998 Silverado - On really cold days after sitting for some time blower speed switch will not work on any speed with only a "click" between speeds 4 and 5. A few hours later and it will work fine with the exception of a "labored" sounding blower motor and less output. I haven't checked yet, but will the 4172 repair harness fix my problem with the symptoms described? Thanks, Evan
